Setting up a Temporary Contact
Throughout the process of
starting your online company you need a method of contact. You
can use your personal cell phone or land line temporarily while
establishing relationships with different companies.
You
will need a temporary email address to receive correspondence
and complete all of the steps outlined in this book.
We
suggest you setup a gmail account through Google. Complete the
following steps to setup your new email address. You will also
be using this gmail address for different programs throughout
this book so make sure you remember your email address and
password! This Gmail account will be used to establish your
adWords accounts and any other supplemental marketing programs
from now on.
1.) Go to
http://mail.google.com

Click on “Create an Account” in
the lower right corner.
2.) Fill out the form to create
your new account.

3.) The first and last name
should NOT be your first and last name, it should be your
business name. Try to establish mybusinessname@gmail.com so your
address is easily remembered and recognized.
4.) Write
down your email address and password in a safe place because you
will be logging in to this account frequently. You will also be
using it for a variety of programs that Google offers.
